Operational Tactics Hostage Rescue Program The Operational Tactics Hostage Rescue Program exposed our team to new methods and techniques for hostage rescue operations and high-risk entries. This program prepared our team by placing us in a position to succeed. We learned the importance of flexibility in planning and preparation from knowledgeable and professional instructors. Great Job! Major Jeff Daley The Operational Tactics Hostage Rescue Program added a new dimension to our tactical team. The team building exercises and shooting techniques were excellent. The instructors did a very good job of presenting the material, showing flexibility when necessary. Great Job!!! Lieutenant David Phinney, Commander The Operational Tactics Hostage Rescue Program offered information and tactics that were extremely beneficial to everyone in attendance. The building locks were laid from the ground up, by very knowledgeable instructors. I enjoyed the entire course of training. This is an excellent course; it is the best training that we have received to date. Sergeant Peter Small The Operational Tactics Hostage Rescue Program was very informative with new material and concepts being presented. I really benefited from the different shooting techniques and team building exercises. All of the instructors were very knowledgeable, personable, and were able to relate very well with the group. They are very genuine and sincere individuals. We were able to take these traits and relate immediately to their instruction. This training provided the knowledge, as well as necessary operational training for our tactical team members. In comparison to [another] command school previously attended, this one blew it away. Having completed this program, I now know what areas our team needs to work on and equipment we need to acquire. The Operational Tactics Advanced Submachine Gun School was physically and mentally challenging. This school provided knowledge, as well as necessary operational training in regards to my area of work as a tactical officer. This was evident by all of the hard work conducted by the instructors. They did an excellent job relaying the information. Very Challenging! Great Job! Sergeant Glenn Wright The Operational Tactics Advanced Submachine Gun School was very beneficial. Corporal Osmany Pantoja The Operational Tactics Advanced Sniper School offers a serious approach to marksmanship and sniping. It is dedicated to precision and is for those looking for a new challenge ahead. Stuart's knowledge and examples are in the pioneer stage of transformation of sniping for police and counter-terrorist teams. He leads with what he believes and is an excellent speaker. His classes will truly benefit those who attend and hopefully graduate. CWO2 Robin Chan, Sniper Commander The Operational Tactics Advanced Sniper School was exceptional! The days were long sometimes lasting 16-18 hours. The first week focused on refining the basics. The second week focused on instructional development, moving targets, scenarios, and urban tactics. There was very little down time and the quality of instruction that was provided by Stuart Meyers was outstanding! I highly recommend this course for sniper career development. It will definitely challenge you. The best part of this course is the unwavering standards. If you fail to perform, you cannot pass the course. Outstanding Job Stu!! Sergeant Jeffrey Felts I felt this school offered a very good blend of classroom work, broken up by field exercises. I liked all of the preparation and thought that went into all the important topics and skills a deployed sniper will need. [Stuart Meyers] has strong moral character, honesty, dedication, and the opinion it is in or out ö no grey areas and very fair. I liked best his commitment and hard work, because there is no excuse for poor performance. Officer Robert Mieczkowski This school worked us hard. I liked the different cold bore shots. This gave us great experience at unknown distances and situations. I have more confidence in my cold bore shot than when I arrived. You presented a very good class and are easy to listen to. Overall, this is the best school I have ever attended. Officer Ted Ahlers I liked the intensity with which this school was conducted. I've attended too many schools and department training sessions where the primary emphasis was on giving the officers a break from the daily grind. The long hours and adverse conditions (wet, cold, and tired) gave a more realistic training environment. The instructors communicated the concepts in an easy to understand manner. Never leaving any doubt where you stood during the course. If we were running, the instructor was running too. This school absolutely provided the knowledge, as well as necessary operational training in regards to my area of work as a sniper. Officer Gregory Moore I would like to thank you again for conducting a tremendous class this past week. The experience was far more than learning the ins and outs of police sniper training. I took away far more than I ever expected. Your quality of instruction is second to none. Not only did your course prepare one for the position of a police sniper when called upon it also provides the individual with the confidence to complete any physical or mental task under various demanding conditions. Graduating will stand among my top accomplishments, being able to participate, work with and learn from such outstanding people as yourself (Stuart Meyers) and Garth Mitchell is far important and can never be replaced. They both demanded performance and expected nothing less than your absolute best ö all at the same time. I've had the privilege of attending some strenuous training. This is the first time I have been challenged both physically and mentally for an entire week. I intend to take the Operational Tactics Advanced Sniper School and look forward to the challenge. I attended a FBI Basic Sniper School. The difference between that and this school is like the difference between kindergarten and college. This was an excellent class and I highly recommend it. Officer Paul Creger Hats off to you guys! This is the best police school I've been to, and I've been to several tactical schools. Usually at a SWAT school I take some ideas/methods and leave some. In this school I agreed with all that was taught. I also liked the use of time ö nothing wasted. I have definitely learned information I can apply and take back to my team. Thank you. Thank you for your leadership and patience. Jorge Ponte I liked the challenge of this school. The instructors were the most knowledgeable and dedicated I have ever seen. I liked their honesty and openness, and their willingness to help someone with trouble. I don't brown-nose, suck-up, or shine. I say what I feel, and successfully completing this school is the hardest thing I have ever done. I felt I accomplished something very special and you [Stuart Meyers] and J.D. [Talaski] are responsible. Thank you!! Officer Patrick Conner The time allotted for classroom instruction was perfect. I liked the way the time was used and the way the instruction fit into the day. This school was to the point! Prepare your mind, body, and soul for the tasks that a sniper must perform. The instructors were the best I have had in civilian law enforcement and I've had many, at many schools in 11 years. I liked their openness and knowledge, along with genuine caring for performance of the students during and after the school. This school was much more directed to police sniping than any other school I've been to. Officer Robert Culver There was a tremendous amount of material provided at this school. As a team leader, I learned more about how my sniper/observer teams should be operating. The instructors were excellent with high standards, credibility, proficiency, and style. I liked the stalks and received a great benefit from attending this school. Lieutenant Michael Farry I liked the overall challenge of the school ö still having to perform after long hard days. The instructors were excellent, professional, and to the point. They allowed jokes and humor, but not too much. They were conscience of safety at all times. This is an excellent school with the experience well worth the effort! Officer James Marcello, III This school, like the Operational Tactics National SWAT/Sniper Symposium I attended, as well as the description of the Advanced Sniper School, are the best training available. The instructors are knowledgeable and excellent, with real experience (not textbook). I liked the fact that every aspect was challenging and intended to raise the stress level. This brought things closer to reality and made me realize how much more I need to train and learn! Officer Kenneth Koonz I appreciated the additional time given to work on marksmanship skills. I learned lots of information, especially the coding system. Carl Simms [instructor] was very caring. He had a great personality and was really into the instruction and students. Stuart was very hard core and disciplined, with a very good outlook and knowledge in the field. He emphasizes a lot of my beliefs in this craft. Officer Jamal Dyer I liked the intensity of the school. The instructors were very knowledgeable and personable. This was a very intense school, the best I have ever been to. Officer David Bonacorsi This was the best and hardest thing I have been in. It was intense just like a call-out would be. The instructors were excellent, very knowledgeable, and answered all questions. Officer Andrew Percha I got a great deal of personal satisfaction and pride in completing the physically and mentally challenging exercises. This is the most complete school I have attended and also the most challenging; thus, the most rewarding. Officer Stephen Royka I liked that everything was hands-on in this school. The scenarios were excellent. The instructors were very knowledgeable and were able to get ideas across to the students. I liked their honesty and ability to motivate and inspire us.
